 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings.     ‪The Federal Government has released a comprehensive schedule for various National Examinations for exit classes, spanning from 17th August to 18th November, 2020‬.
The Federal Government has said the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) organized by the National Examination Council (NECO) for SS3 students will commence on October 5 and end on November 18, 2020...

The Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajuiba, announced the dates for the examination at the end of a two-day meeting with Chief Executives of examination bodies in the country.

In a statement released today Wednesday, July 29 by the Director of Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education, Ben Goong, the ministry said the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) into Unity Colleges will hold on October 17, 2020.
The ministry also said the Basic Education Certificate Examinations, (BECE) for JSS 3 pupils also conducted by NECO, will start on August 24 and end on September 7, 2020.
The statement said registration for the NECO (SSCE), which is on-going, will end on September 10 and that there will be no further extension.
The statement added that the National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) examinations will start on September 21 and end by October 15, 2020
The National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) is scheduled to hold from Wednesday, September 23 to October 17.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
