 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration. POLICE OPERATIVES NAB TWO ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS WHO SPECIALISE IN SNATCHING TRICYCLE(KEKE) IN AWKA.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

*Recover two firearms and other incriminating items*
In furtherance with our avowed commitment to stem the tide of crime and other nefarious activities in the State, police operatives attached to Central Police Station(CPS) Awka in conjuction with local vigilante group had on 8/2/2021 at about 8:pm arrested two armed robbery suspects at Parkers, Ziks Avenue,Awka following a distress call.Suspects arrested are as follows,
(i).Okafor Stanley 'm' aged 19years of Ezeawulu village,Nibo and,
(ii).Benedith Sunday 'm' aged 21years of Ifite Village Awkuzu.
Suspects allegedly attacked and snatched at gunpoint a tricycle from a Keke rider at Ziks avenue,Awka.Exhibits recovered in their possessions includes two locally made pistols and the snatched tricycle.
Meanwhile,suspects have voluntarily confessed to the crime and investigation is ongoing after which they would be brought to justice.The Command reassure "Ndi Anambra" that it will continue to pursue the criminals from all nooks and crannies in the State until they repent or relocate from the State please.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
