 U.S Finalizes $20,000 Visa Bond Policy Affecting Nigeria and 49 Other Nations The United States government has officially formalized its visa bond policy, making it a permanent measure that could require travelers from 50 designated countries, including Nigeria, to pay a refundable bond of up to $20,000 before receiving certain visas. First introduced as a pilot scheme in 2025, the policy targets applicants seeking B1 and B2 visas, which are designated for business and tourism. According to the U.S. Department of State, the initiative is designed to bolster compliance with local immigration laws and drastically reduce visa overstay rates. POLICE OPERATIVES NAB TWO ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS WHO SPECIALISE IN SNATCHING TRICYCLE(KEKE) IN AWKA.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

*Recover two firearms and other incriminating items*
In furtherance with our avowed commitment to stem the tide of crime and other nefarious activities in the State, police operatives attached to Central Police Station(CPS) Awka in conjuction with local vigilante group had on 8/2/2021 at about 8:pm arrested two armed robbery suspects at Parkers, Ziks Avenue,Awka following a distress call.Suspects arrested are as follows,
(i).Okafor Stanley 'm' aged 19years of Ezeawulu village,Nibo and,
(ii).Benedith Sunday 'm' aged 21years of Ifite Village Awkuzu.
Suspects allegedly attacked and snatched at gunpoint a tricycle from a Keke rider at Ziks avenue,Awka.Exhibits recovered in their possessions includes two locally made pistols and the snatched tricycle.
Meanwhile,suspects have voluntarily confessed to the crime and investigation is ongoing after which they would be brought to justice.The Command reassure "Ndi Anambra" that it will continue to pursue the criminals from all nooks and crannies in the State until they repent or relocate from the State please.
