 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. BENUE: GOV. ORTOM DETHRONES TRADITIONAL RULER, OVER MURDER.{PHOTO}

Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has ordered the suspension of a traditional chief, Ortar Agwa Mnyange Kwahar in Buruku Local Government Area of the state.
Also, the governor directed the suspension of all youth groups and any of their activities in Yemakem.
The State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mrs Ngunan Adingi stated this in a statement she issued and made available to newsmen on Saturday.
Mrs Adingi said that the suspension of the chief followed the crisis in Mbatyough Council Ward, Mbagen in the council area which led to the burning down of a widow, Mrs Shaade Nyihemba.
The widow who was a nurse by profession, according to an earlier report was burnt down when some firebugs set her house on fire a few weeks ago and her death raised suspicion among residents in the community.

The Information Commissioner noted that governor Samuel Ortom who on Friday held a meeting with the traditional rulers and elders from the area among them are; the Tor Jemgbagh, HRH Chief Afatyo Ajoko, Ter Buruku HRH Moses Hanior and Mue Ter HRH Tivfa Addingi directed the suspension of the traditional chiefs to pave the way for investigation into his (the chief) role in the crisis in his domain...

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
