 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings. YOBE: OVER 150 DISASTER VICTIMS IN NGURU LGA RECEIVED GOV. MAI MALA BUNI'S SUPPORT.{PHOTOS}.#PRESS RELEASE.

In the early hours of today 14th July 2021 as directed by His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni, over 150 Windstorm Victims registered and validated by SEMA in Nguru LGA recieved first line support.  This is in line with his Excellency drive to bring succor to the victims majority of whom are  of Low Socio-economic Status.


While effort is bieng intensified to bring more support in terms of other materials to the victims and other vulnerable POCs across the state, The Executive Secretary of SEMA said "This is aimed and supporting the victims put something on thier table, reduce burden of household they are transiting and give the household heads opportunities to comfortably go out and work to repair their houses ".


Nguru LGA Chairman who led the distribution thank Governor Buni for the timely response during this trying moments.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
