  Oshiomhole Convinced Us To Make Obaseki Governor – Philip Shaibu Philip Shaibu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, has disclosed that his choice to support his former boss, Godwin Obaseki, stemmed from his respect for Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Shaibu shared his doubts about Obaseki during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm program on Tuesday. Shaibu admitted that he lacked confidence in Obaseki's leadership even before they took office on November 12, 2016. He explained that despite his initial hesitations, he ultimately backed Obaseki out of respect and based on the assurances provided by Oshiomhole. He stated, “Obaseki is not a politician. We made him governor because Oshiomhole persuaded us. American Comedian Kathy Griffin announced on social media that she down with lung cancer.She shared the epistle as seen below when she wrote '' I've got to tell you guys something.I have can cancer.I'm about to go into surgery to have half of my left lung removed.Yes,I have lung cancer even though I've never smoked!.The doctors are very optimistic as it is stage one and contained to my left lung.
Hopefully no chemo or radiation afterthis and I should have normal function with my breathing. I should be up and and running around as usual in a month or less.It's been a helluva 4 years ,trying to get back to work,making you guys laugh and entertaining you,but I'm gonna be just fine,of course I am fully vaccinated for covid. The consequences for being unvaccinated would have been even more serious.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
