  President Bola Tinubu has identified the creative economy as a pivotal element of his administration’s economic diversification agenda, reaffirming his commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a driving force for global influence. The President stated this at the launch of the 2024 Abuja International Carnival at Eagle Square, Abuja. President Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said the carnival reaffirms the essence of who Nigerians are—”a people of culture, a people of art, a people of colour, and a people of shared values”. Christmas: Gov. Buni of Yobe flags off distribution of foodstuffs to 633 vulnerable Christian households in Yobe. 


Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe, who is also the National caretaker Chairman of APC flagged off distribution of food items to 633 vulnerable Yobe Christian households to celebrate Christmas. 


The food items were presented to the beneficiaries today in Damaturu by the focal Person of Northeast Development Commission Yobe state chapter, Dr. Ali Ibrahim Abbas.


Dr. Abbas said the gesture is a directive of Governor Mai Mala Buni with supports from the state government and Northeast Development Commission.


The flagging off took place in Damaturu today and will continue in Gashua and Potiskum respectively.
