 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. There were chilling showers of love at the 6th Imo State Stakeholders Meeting when Legendary Music Icon and Songwriter, Onyeka Onwenu trilled the audience with her beautiful song "One Love". 


Following her call for one love to keep Imo State together, the song was heralded by a standing ovation and the momentous rendition by all to the timeless tune that has thrilled and inspired many for decades. 


In her brief and moving comment, she expressed her knowledge of the fact that His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma loved the State and remained dedicated to its development. While spotting the need for more development in the State, the Social Activist acknowledged in unmistakable terms, the massive infrastructural development recorded within the short period under which Governor Hope Uzodimma has held fort as a passionate leader for development. 


The "Elegant Stallion" as she is fondly called, beckoned on Imolites to support the Shared Prosperity administration of Gov. Hope Uzodimma based on both his love for the State and his untiring commitment to transforming it for the good of all citizens.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
