  President Bola Tinubu has identified the creative economy as a pivotal element of his administration’s economic diversification agenda, reaffirming his commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a driving force for global influence. The President stated this at the launch of the 2024 Abuja International Carnival at Eagle Square, Abuja. President Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said the carnival reaffirms the essence of who Nigerians are—”a people of culture, a people of art, a people of colour, and a people of shared values”. CHUKWUEMEKA ODUMEGWU OJUKWU UNIVERSITY, ANAMBRA STATE

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

This is to inform the general public that Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University is not on strike.

Academic activities are going on massively with the University-wide quiz which began on Tuesday 22nd February 2022 and will end on Saturday 26th February 2022. 

Parents should therefore ignore any of their wards who come home to inform them otherwise. 

The University is committed to ensuring that students graduate when they are supposed to without incurring further expenses for their parents.
