 NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces. LAGOS HEAD OF SERVICE ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF PERMANENT SECRETARIES


The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, has announced the appointment of Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu as Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) with immediate effect.

A statement signed by Muri-Okunola stated that Governor Babajide Olusola-Sanwo-Olu approved the appointment taking cognisance of the appointee's track records, outstanding performance, diligence, commitment and selfless service to Lagos State. 

Muri-Okunola also said that Ms. Oyinade Nathan-Marsh was appointed as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, while Mrs. Adetutu Oluremi Ososanya assumed duty as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives in February.

While wishing the three appointees a most rewarding and impactful tenure in office, the HoS noted that the dates for the swearing-in ceremony will be announced in due course.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
