 NAF GETS FIRST-EVER SERVING PROFESSOR, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO R&D AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE In a landmark achievement for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and a major boost to its research and development (R&D) endeavours, the Governing Council of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), has approved the appointment of Air Vice Marshal Osichinaka Chiedu Ubadike as Professor of Aerospace Engineering. This makes him the first-ever serving officer in the NAF to be conferred the rank of Professor. Air Vice Marshal Ubadike, an accomplished scholar and military professional, holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and Aerospace Vehicle Design from the esteemed Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. He also possesses 3 other Masters degrees from Ahmadu Bello University and Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), with a First-Class Bachelor of Electrical Electronics Engineering degree from NDA. Nollywood Stars - Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel Kidnapped.

Nollywood Actress, Cynthia Okereke and Actor, Clemson Cornel has been Kidnapped.

According to a Statement by the Director of Communications - Actors Guild of Nigeria, Monalisa Chinda Coker, the two movie stars were reportedly missing after their family members confirmed they didn't come back home from a film location at Ozalla Town, Enugu State.

According to the statement, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas Ejezie has instructed all Actors to avoid going to outskirts of cities to film except with full security cover in view of the sad development.

Chief Emeka Rollas also expressed shock over the ugly incidenct and urged the security agencies to speed up investigations that would lead to their safe rescue.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
