 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. 231 BARRACK YOUTH GRADUATE FROM THE SECOND BATCH OF THE NAOWA YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROJECT ON 22 DECEMBER 2022


The NAOWA Youth Development Project which is an initiative of the President NAOWA, Mrs Salamatu F Yahaya graduate's additional 231 youth of the barracks. The event which is the second of its kind, took place at the NAOWA Event Center Asokoro on 22 December 2022. 

The graduates are secondary school certificate holders who were taken through six weeks intensive training on various fields of Information and Communication Technology, namely; Python for Beginners, Introduction to Cyber Security, Web Design, IT Essentials and Get Connected. The training was conducted by Unites Cisco Networking Academy who are NAOWA technical facilitators for the project.

The Special Guest of Honour, the Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen F Yahaya CFR in his goodwill remarks, applauded the initiative of the NAOWA President, Mrs Salamatu F Yahaya of commencing the NAOWA Youth Development Project. He also pledged his continuous support for any NAOWA activity that is aimed at capacity development and improved welfare of Nigerian Army Personnel and their families. He also enjoined the youth to be good ambassadors of the barrack community.

Earlier in her opening remarks, the NAOWA President express her appreciation to the Special Guest of Honour, The Chief of Army Staff, other Senior Army Officers and all other persons who contributed positively in the success of the project. She also stated that the NAOWA Youth Development Project, which is a fully sponsored programme graduated 234 youth in the first batch of the training on 3 November 2022 and again an additional 231 youth are graduating in the second batch. 

Also speaking at the event was the Honorable Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen who was represented by Hajiya Lami Adamu Lau, the National President of the National Council of Women Societies. She commended the initiative of the NAOWA President and also called on other organizations to emulate her actions for the betterment of the youth in the society.

Highpoints of the event include; dance display by NYSC cultural group, presentation by the graduating trainees, issuance of certificate and gift items to the graduating trainees, presentation of gift to the Special Guest of Honour and other invited guest, refreshment and group photograph.
