 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room. Contrary to the false story currently making the rounds and peddled by a dishonest individual, the suicide victim in Ogun state is NOT a client of LAPO Microfinance Bank.

 INITIAL REPORT:


Tragedy struck at Oke-Keesi, Itoko area of Abeokuta, Ogun State yesterday around 2pm, when a woman known as Mama Dada reportedly committed suicide by setting herself abl.azed in her rented house.


According to report from her neighbours she was owing one of this microfinance institutions popularly known as ‘Gbomu le lantern’ a loan of seventy thousand naira (70k)


""She’s owing the ‘Gbomu le lantern’ the sum of 70k, because she was unable to meet up with the payment she then sent her last born fuel and also use style to discharge the small boy and she lock herself up inside the room and wet everywhere with petrol including herself and she burn herself inside"" Elder Babawale CDA secretary


Her corpse has since been deposited at the State General Hospital, ijaye by the Ogun State fire service.
