 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. Anambra Man Narrates His Traumatic Experience With Unknown Gunmen On His Birthday

"The Traumatic Experience I and my family had with the UNKNOWN GUNMEN yesterday being My Birthday was a Sad one but Yet Victorious.

I woke up feeling so different Yesterday even though it was my Birthday.

I rushed to Church and prayed for life and supernatural protection 🙏

I was on my way with my family driving back to base from IMO STATE just a celebrate my BIRTHDAY in grandstyle.

I saw A car following me and bike men struggling to overtake me but ofcourse it didn’t occur to me to take caution so I got over it 😠 

So I got to a very terrible bad road along ihiala axis Anambra state and applied brakes then immediately one bike overtakes me and came down with Ak47 pointing at me to come down or he shoots and render Me lifeless 😳

The other people surrounded the car while I came out with my hands up.

The one pointing gun at me entered the driver’s seat to drive off but saw my family and the pity face of my wife shouting Jesus 😌

The ones behind me opened the back door and saw my family too but ofcourse there will always be a Judas shouting everybody come down, Carry the Car and the Man 😟

In my mind… carry who ? 😂 On my Birthday ? 🥹

One of the guys fair in completion saw my family all packed inside and called for his gangs to allow me Go 

There was massive arguments amongst them but he signaled me to MOVE 🏃🏃

I entered my Car and Zoomed off 😔

God gave me a Second Chance to Live Yesterday and I appreciate what he did.

Your Prayers Yesterday kept me Alive

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
