 BAMIDELE OLUMILUA UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNLOGY, IKERE-EKITI RE-A VIRAL VIDEO OF BULLYING OF A FEMALE STUDENT IN BOUESTI It has come to our attention that a disturbing incident involving some  students of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI) has surfaced on social media platforms. A video showing one Miss Opemiposi Precious BOLAJI, an 18 year old 100L Mass Communication student beating her colleague identified as Miss Gloria AJAYI, a 100L Mass Communication student, in a private hostel outside the University campus has gone viral. In accordance with our institution's policies and extant regulations, the students who were captured in the viral video, appeared  before the Students' Disciplinary Committee at its emergency meeting held on Monday, May 6, 2024 for interrogations and appropriate recommendations, the report of which has been submitted to the University authorities. CHANGE OF BATON IN 6 DIVISION NIGERIAN ARMY 



A new General Officer Commanding, (GOC) 6 Division Nigerian Army/ Land Component Commander Joint Task Force (South-South) Operation Delta Safe has assumed Command. He is Major General Jamal Abdussalam. Until his appointment as the 10th General Officer Commanding, 6 Division Nigerian Army, he was the immediate past Military Secretary (Army). 


Speaking at the handing and taking over ceremony, the out gone GOC, 6 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Olufemi Oluyede thanked officers and men of the Division for their support and cooperation which enabled him record the modest successes attributed to the Division. He called on Brigade Commanders, Commanders of affiliated formations and units, officers and men of the Division to extend even greater level of support to the new GOC.


While responding, the General Officer Commanding 6 Division Nigerian Army Major General Jamal Abdussalam appreciated the successes recorded under the leadership of the out gone GOC. He called on officers and men to always bear in their minds, the basics of soldiering. He pledged to consolidate on the successes of his predecessor while stating that threats to personnel, equipment and location would not be condoned. 


Major General Olufemi Oluyede only recently was redeployed to Army Headquarters, Abuja as Director, Directorate of Inspection and Compliance, Office of the Chief of Army Staff.

 Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
