  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. COOLIO'S CAUSE OF DEATH REVEALED: RAPPER DIED FROM FENTANYL OVERDOSE AT THE AGE OF 59.(PHOTO).#RIP

Gangsta's Paradise rapper Coolio died from the effects of several drugs including fentanyl, according to his manager Jarez Posey and a Los Angeles County coroner's report. The 59-year-old music star was pronounced dead at the scene after he was found unresponsive on the bathroom floor of a friend's LA home in September last year.

The report, which deemed his death accidental, also noted that the rapper was suffering from heart disease and asthma and had recently used the hallucinogen phencyclidine, or PCP.
