 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. EFCC ARRAIGNS MA'SHA ALLAH INTL PROMOTER,USMAN FOR ALLEGED MULTI-MILLION NAIRA FRAUD IN LAGOS. (PHOTO).#PRESS RELEASE.

 EFCC Arraigns Ma’sha Allah  Intl  Promoter, Usman for Alleged Multi-million Naira Fraud in Lagos


The Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, arraigned one Muhammed Usman and his firm, Masha Allah International Resources Limited, on a five count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and stealing before  before Justice I.O. Ijelu of the State High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos. 


He pleaded "not guilty" to the five counts. 


Following his plea, the prosecution counsel, Ahmed Yerima, prayed the court for a trial date "to enable the prosecution assemble its witnesses and for an order of the court remanding the defendant at a custodial facility.”


The defence counsel, J.H. Bashir, however, pleaded with the court for the defendant to  be remanded in the EFCC custody, adding that “ We are in the process of bringing a formal bail application before the court with same to be served on the prosecution soon".


Justice Ijelu ordered the defendant to be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Facility, and adjourned the case till Monday, June 19, 2023 for trial.


Meanwhile, Usman was also arraigned before Justice Ijelu on a separate four-count charge bordering on obtaining by false pretence and stealing. 


He also pleaded "not guilty" to the four counts.


The case was also adjourned till June 19, 2023 for trial.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
