 A Mother's Day Nightmare in Princeton, Illinois. A 3-year-old boy was struck by gunfire as police burst into a barricaded room, ending a frightening hostage situation. Multiple agencies responded to the Hummingbird Mobile Home Park in Princeton, Illinois, on Sunday, May 10th at 2:42 a.m. The initial call went out as a domestic disturbance but officers discovered much worse.  42-year-old, Anthony Rodriguez, had barricaded himself in a room armed with a knife. Anthony had taken several people as hostages, including Aurora Almanza and her 3-year-old son.  Multiple agencies were on the scene, including the Bureau County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police and  the Princeton Police Department.  Authorities attempted to negotiate but ultimately rushed the room when they heard screaming coming from inside.  Officials have reported that officers fired shots as they entered the room. Igbo Businessman, Ikechukwu Simeon Killed By His Abductors After Collecting N10m Ransom

A multi-millionaire and philanthropist based in Lagos, Mr. Ikechukwu Simeon Ebelebe has been found dead two weeks after he was reportedly kidnapped by gunmen in his hometown, Owerre-Akokwa in Ideato-North Local Government Area of Imo State.

His abductors killed him after collecting N10 million Naira ransom from his family.

Available information reveals that his body was identified in a mortuary, where it was deposited after it was discovered by the police.

The report said that his remains were found in a bush in Orumba South LGA, Anambra State. The locals reported a foul smell in the area and upon investigation, found a body that the police confirmed was indeed his.

The late Ikechukwu is the CEO of Divine-Ike motors located in Lagos and runs a foundation- “Divine Iyke Foundation for Humanity” that cares for the elderly and the needy in the East.
