 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Guinness World Record receives Chef Dammy’s cook-a-thon application, set to review evidence


Guinness World Records has reportedly approved the 120-hour cook-a-thon of Ekiti-born chef, Miss Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy.


Recall, Chef Dammy embarked on a courageous cooking journey which organisers said lasted for 120 hours between June 9 and 13.


On Wednesday, June 14, Guinness World Records confirmed to Legit.ng that the chef did not apply before starting to cook in her 120-hour cookathon.


“We have not received an application for this attempt. Applications can be made via the Guinness World Records website for our records management team to review.


“Once an application is accepted, the record claimant receives a set of detailed guidelines specific to that record category that must be adhered to.”


In the latest information made available to Legit.ng on Friday, June 16, the Guinness World Records said the body is now in possession of Dammy’s application.


The GWR PR manager, Madalyn Bielfeld, told news outfit:


“I can confirm that Chef Dammy has now made an application.”


Also, the record body Saud that the body would ensure Dammy understands how to submit her evidence and that the evidence would be reviewed.


The body wrote:


“We will ensure she understands the process and method to submit the evidence. We will then reviews this quickly.”
