 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. Lagos Police Arrest Man For Stealing Mini-bus

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested one Ahmed Ayinde suspected to have stolen a Suzuki mini bus popularly called 'Korope' while attempting to sell it along Isolo Road, Mushin without documents.

The police command made this known in a statement shared on their Twitter page on Tuesday.

The statement said, "Police officers were alerted when one Ahmed Ayinde attempted selling a Suzuki mini bus popularly called Korope with registration number EKY 902 YA along Isolo Road, Mushin without documents. The suspect was arrested and the exhibit was recovered.

"Investigation revealed that the suspect had stolen the vehicle from Iyana Ipaja axis. The owner is hereby invited to come with valid proof of ownership to claim the vehicle."
