 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. Lost boy found in Abuja, says he escaped from his uncle's house because the labour was too much for him

The police in Asokoro, Abuja is seeking to reunite a young boy, Msuhgter Aodohemba,  with his family in Benue State. 
 
According to a post shared by Benue activist, Ukan Kurugh on Thursday, July 20, 2023, the boy said he escaped from his uncle's house because the labour was too much for him. 
 
“LOST AND FOUND. This boy is by name MSUHGTER AONDOHEMBA, he told me he was staying with his grandmother and grandfather by name ASHEKUMA NEGE and ATUUR NEGE at behind modern market Makurdi,” the post read. 
 
“His grandmother's brother NENKEHEMEN took him to Yoruba land (No state name) but the labour was too much for him and he escaped. He is presently at ASOKORO DIVISION ABUJA. I went there today and the police officer told me to help her reunite him with his family. If anyone knows the family, tell them to contact DSP ESTHER on 08033582725”
