 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. IKE EKWEREMADU'S SON WEDS HEARTTHROB TIFFANY IN ABUJA.(PHOTOS).

Lloyd, son of former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu got married to his heartrob, Tiffany in Abuja on Saturday.


The Nation learnt top chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) including three former Senate Presidents – Anyim Pius Anyim, David Mark and Bukola Saraki – and PDP governorship candidate in Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye, among others, stood in for Ekweremadu and his wife Beatrice.


Ekweremadu, who represented Enugu West senatorial district in the Senate for about two decades, is being held in a UK prison with his wife Beatrice after they were found guilty of organ trafficking and sentenced to different jail terms in May, 2023.


The Nation reports that a UK Court sentenced the former Deputy Senate President and PDP chieftain to nine years and eight months in prison.


The court also sentenced Beatrice to four years and six months in prison while a doctor who allegedly colluded with them, Obinna Obeta, was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
