 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  MOTHER DUMPS BABY IN REFUSE IN CALABAR

An unknown mother has dumped her infant child in a refuse dump in Calabar, Cross River State.


In the wee hours of Wednesday,  August 16, an unknown baby was found dead by the dustbin at Palm Street by Atakpa close to Pin Margaret Commercial School, Calabar South LGA.


The baby whose gender is female was wrapped in an Ankara wrapper with flies perching on her.


Eyewitnesses said that the baby was still alive before giving up the ghost.


As of the time of filing this report, details surrounding the woman who dumped her are yet unknown.
