The Government categorically refutes claims of lopsidedness and emphasizes its unwavering commitment to the principles of fairness, equity, and national unity. All appointments are made in strict adherence to federal character principle, as enshrined in Section 14 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as Altered). CSU CONFIRMS TINUBU GRADUATED FROM SCHOOL IN 1979.(PHOTO).

CSU confirms Tinubu graduated from school in 1979

The Chicago State University (CSU) has responded to the request by former vice president Atiku Abubakar in line with an Illinois, United States (U.S.) court order.
In its response, the CSU insisted that it does not keep copies of diploma certificates issued to students.

It also confirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu graduated from the school in 1979.

The CSU said Tinubu graduated in 1979 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration.

It, however, said that after diligent search it was able to find some but not give the names because of privacy concerns.

It further said that it could not find that of Tinubu which Atiku claimed was presented by the president to INEC.

The university said it found some diploma certificates with the same font as the one being queried by Atiku.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. ā€œThe Appellant was set up.
