 A Limpopo man who stabbed his girlfriend to death in front of his own mother will spend the next 20 years in prison. The Polokwane High Court sentenced 48 year old Nathaniel Molatelo Mokgehle from Sekonye Village in the Botlokwa policing area for the murder of his girlfriend, 41 year old Mokgadi Julia Mohlaela. The court heard he chased her out of the house and continued stabbing her until she collapsed and died. Mokgehle also received six months for malicious damage to property. The sentence will run at the same time as the 20 year murder sentence. Evidence presented in court showed the victim had previously opened a malicious damage to property case against him. He was still attending court for that case when the murder happened. The attack happened on 08 June 2025 around 16:00 at his mother’s home in Sekonye Village. ‘Co-parenting with my ex makes sense’ – Actress Wunmi Toriola

Popular Nollywood actress, Wunmi Toriola has stated that co-parenting makes sense with her estranged husband.
The actress said this in her latest interview with actress Debbie Shokoya.
Speaking about her post-divorce journey, Toriola gave more details on their relationship after divorce, saying that the co-parenting path with her ex husband makes sense.
“I see that even co-parenting makes sense, we could have ended up being friends but a lot of us do not understand that some people are for marriage while some are meant to be friends.
“We co-parent better. I can’t train a child alone and the child will start loving the other parent who is far away. I don’t want to be giving a 1950 prologue so I allowed him. He is 100% involved with his child.”
The actress got married to her ex husband in 2018, and later separated in 2022. They have a son together.
