 ANAMBRA SHMB WARNS HEALTH INFORMATION OFFICERS OVER LATE REPORTS, REITERATES 7TH-DAY DEADLINE By Ebele Egoh The Anambra State Hospital Management Board (SHMB) has urged Health Information Management Officers to ensure accurate medical records, timely data submission and strict protection of patients’ confidential information to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state. The Director of Medical Support Services of the Board, Mrs Nneka Uzor, gave the call during a meeting and training session for health information personnel held on Oct. 9 at the SHMB conference hall. Mrs Uzor stressed that maintaining complete medical records and safeguarding patients’ information are essential professional responsibilities, cautioning  the officers against disclosing sensitive health information to unauthorised persons and urged them to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality. Mohbad’s father beg Nigerians for financial assistance to fund DNA test for grandson, Liam


The father of the late singer Mohbad, Mr Joseph Aloba appeals to the public for assistance in funding a DNA test to determine the true paternity of his grandson, Liam.


Highlighting the importance of conducting the DNA test in two different hospitals, Aloba emphasized his inability to accept his grandson, Liam, if the test reveals another man as the biological father.


According to Mohbad's father, “I want Nigerians that are fighting for justice for Mohbad not to get tired, they should please support me because I can’t do it alone.


“They should help me find out what killed my son. And I also want the DNA of his son to be done because I don’t want to accept a bastard child.


“I need help. You know as a father, I have to arrange money for the DNA, and I want the DNA carried out in two separate places. I have spoken to my lawyer."
