 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. Most of successful Nigerian female artistes managed by boyfriends - Rapper Magnito


Popular rapper, Mohammed Usman Adamu,popularly known as Magnito, has noted that the majority of successful female artistes in Nigeria are being managed by their boyfriends.

According to Magnito, this has become a prevailing trend in the Nigerian music industry, but fans remain unaware due to these artists keeping their relationships private.

The ‘Canada’ crooner made these statements during the latest episode of the Terms And Conditions podcast.

Magnito emphasized that despite not being publicized, many of these female artistes are indeed managed by their boyfriends, inviting listeners to verify by calling out any name.

“Most of the successful female artistes you see, the person managing them is their boyfriend. They might not put it in the public. But most of them… Call any name.”

His assertion sparked a range of reactions on social media, with some agreeing while others criticized him for making generalizations.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
