 RE: VIRAL VIDEO OF WOMAN ASSAULTED BY SUSPECTED THUG NEAR ORIENTAL HOTEL The Lagos State Police Command is aware of a viral video circulating on social media, depicting the assault of one Yetunde Amole by a suspected thug near the Oriental Hotel area in Lagos. The Command condemns this act in the strongest terms and wishes to update the public on the actions already taken. The incident occurred on April 7, 2025, at about 1400hrs, when the suspect, identified as Friday Onu, was caught attempting to steal Amole’s car battery. Amole, courageously intervened to prevent the theft, resulting in the suspect assaulting her. Following a prompt response by officers of Maroko Division, Friday Onu was arrested shortly after the incident and detained at the division. Preparations for his arraignment were underway when he suddenly took ill. He was immediately transferred to Falomo Police Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment under close supervision. TIFFANY HADDISH ARRESTED FOR DUI IN BEVERLY HILLS.(PHOTO).

Tiffany Haddish has reportedly been arrested for a DUI in Beverly Hills.


The actress was placed in handcuffs on Friday morning, Nov. 24, according to TMZ.


Police found the Hollywood comedienne asleep behind the wheel of her car when it was still running.


The vehicle was located in the middle of a busy street on Beverly Drive.


The call came from a concerned citizen at about 5:45am who was worried about the actress sleeping in her car.


Haddish was reportedly “slumped over the wheel while the car was running,” the site claimed.


She was cited for a DUI and is expected to be released from custody later today.


In a video obtained by TMZ, the actress could be with her hands behind her back and cuffed as she is escorted to a patrol car.


The site said her arrest was “peaceful” with no resistance. 


Before she fell asleep at the wheel of her car, Tiffany had performed a stand-up set at The Laugh Factory on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood for the club's 43rd annual free Thanksgiving feast for the community. 


This is not the first time she has been arrested for falling asleep behind the wheel of a car. 


In January 2022 she was arrested under a similar circumstance for a DUI in Peachtree City, Georgia. The Night School actress was found “dozing in the driver's seat” of her car, according to TMZ.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
