 YOBE STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES ENROLLMENT OF RETIREES INTO THE STATES HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT  Yobe state government has approved the enrollment of the state and local government retirees into the state  contributory  Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) social equity programme, marking a significant milestone in the state's effort to strengthen social protection and expand access to quality healthcare .  𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗢𝗳 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆, 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗡𝗻𝗲𝗯𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗲 𝗢𝗳 𝟲𝟭


Anayo Nnebe (born in 1963) popularly known as Ichele Awka, served as the Speaker of the Anambra State Assembly from 2007 to 2011.


He is from Umuokpu Village, Awka in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.


In 2015, he was elected to represent Awka North and South Federal Constituency under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).


In April 2018, Nnebe announced his defection from the PDP to the All Progressives Grand Alliance and contested again to represent Awka North and South Federal Constituency but lost to PDP. 


Before his death, he was an appointee of the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo on Legislative Matters.
