 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES TEAM NIGERIA ON OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AT THE COMMONWEALTH GAMES IN GLASGOW ​President Bola Tinubu congratulates Team Nigeria on their remarkable performance at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. The ​President celebrates the athletes for demonstrating the resilience, determination, discipline, and excellence that define the Nigerian spirit. IKEJA ELECTRIC DONATES BINS TO LAWMA



The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), today, received 36 waste bins donated by Ikeja Electric, for distribution to public schools in the state, to promote recycling and proper waste management among the younger generation. 


The Head of Corporate Communication, Ikeja Electric, Mr. Kingsley Okotie, during the presentation of the bins at LAWMA headquarters, noted that the donation was aimed at supporting the Authority’s efforts on proper waste management.


While appreciating Ikeja Electric for the gesture, the Managing Director/CEO of LAWMA, Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, said the Authority was working with the Ministry of Education, to introduce waste management to school curriculum, to educate pupils on proper waste management and recycling.
