 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. Supreme Court Affirms Governor Dauda Lawal Of Zamfara State Victory 

Reactions and jubilations trails the ancient city of Gusau, Zamfara State capital over the supreme court judgement which affirmed Governor Dauda Lawal as the elected governor of the state.

Radio Nigeria Correspondent in Gusau, reports that, there are reactions and jubilations based on the judgement of the supreme court which confirmed Dauda Lawal as the elected governor of the state.

Most of the people interviewed, express hope that the governor will deliver the responsibility bestowed on him and urged him to carry everyone along.

In a statement issued by the Zamfara State Commissioner of Police through the Command's Public Relations Officer, ASP Yazid Abubakar urged party supporters and loyalists to remain calm and law abiding citizens as police will not allowed any political thugs to form celebrations in any way.

Similarly, the opposition party APC also issued a statement signed by the Party's Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris, calling on their supporters also to remain law abiding citizens and to always remain calm and support the security agencies in the discharge of their responsibilities.
