 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  AFCON: ‘Finals here we come’ – Kanu on Super Eagles’ 1-0 win over Angola


Arsenal legend, Nwankwo Kanu, has reacted to Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, quarter-final 1-0 win over Angola on Friday.

Kanu, who congratulated the Super Eagles players, coaches and supporters, backed the three-time African champions to make it to the finals and win the trophy.

DAILY POST reports that a goal from Ademola Lookman in the first half gave Nigeria a 1-0 win over Angola.

Reacting, Kanu, in a video post via his X account said,

“Can you believe? Yes I do, I told you congratulations.

“Congratulations to all the boys Super Eagles, the coaching crew, technical crew and to all the supporters.

“I told you this is going to happen. Finals here we come. No stopping, we are winning this tournament. I thank God. Please believe. We’re going to do it.”
