 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  AFCON: ‘If Nigeria wins trophy, we are dead, we can’t allow them’ – Ghana’s Kwadwo Sheldon laments


Ghanaian YouTube personality and content creator, Bernard Kwadwo Amoafo, also known as Kwadwo Sheldon, has insisted they cannot allow Nigeria’s Super Eagles to win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

According to Sheldon, if Nigeria wins the AFCON trophy, Ghanaians are ‘dead’.

He spoke immediately after Nigeria defeated Angola 1-0 in the AFCON quarter-final on Friday.

“Congratulations to Nigerians, they are through to the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations,” Sheldon said in a video post via his X account.

“The way the thing they go is like they go win the trophy (sic).

“I dey come tell you people that we can’t allow Nigerians to win the Africa Cup of Nations because if they win the Africa Cup of Nations we are dead. We are gone, he added.

“Jellof rice they no fit cook see how they are dragging it with us.

“Imagine they add AFCON trophy and Afrobeat. The internet wouldn’t be able to contain us,” he lamented.
