MORE INFORMATION IN THE MYSTERIOUS DEATHS OF THREE FRIENDS FOUND DEAD OUTSIDE OF A KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI HOME. (PHOTO).

More information in the mysterious deaths of three friends found dead outside of a Kansas City, Missouri home.

We first reported on this story the day after it happened and although other news outlets have repeatedly reported on it, we were waiting for more information.  Here's what we could uncover so far.

3 lifelong friends Ricky Johnson, David Harrington and Clayton McGeeney went to the home of a mutual friend Jordan Willis on January 9th to watch the KC Chiefs play. After leaving their homes that evening all three seemingly vanished from the face of the earth.

Repeated texts, calls and social media messages from friends and family went unanswered for 2 days. Jordan Willis was also unreachable during this period either ignoring repeated calls, texts, knocks on his door and tags in FB posts or truly not seeing or hearing them.

Finally after 2 days of no answers, Clayton McGeeney's fiancée had enough of wondering "what if," and broke into Willis's home. Once inside she loudly made her presence known to what seemed to be an empty home.

After only a few short minutes of exploring she discovered her fiance, Clayton, deceased on the back porch. She immediately called police who then discovered the other 2 men in the backyard. After the police became involved, Willis casually strolled out of his home having been there the entire time. Allegedly, he told police the men froze to death.

Here's what we have found out in the weeks since these 3 men's tragic death.

The home owner:

Jordan Willis, who is a research scientist, has cooperated with police, however he has an attorney who has made several inconsistent statements on Willis's behalf. At points he has said Willis was home the entire time but sleeping with earbuds in and a fan on. At other times he has said Willis was only home sporadically.  He has also stated Willis had gone to bed before the men left his home and also that Willis escorted them to the door when they left.

It should be noted that 2 of the men's vehicles were parked on the street outside the home. Willis claimed this wasn't unusual for them to do. Jordan Willis has checked himself into rehab this week.

The fifth man:

It has been confirmed there was a fifth man at the home that evening.  Although his existence has been confirmed, his identity has not. The man has however cooperated and in interviews he has stated that the men were watching Jeopardy on the couch when he left at midnight.

Cause of death:

The manner and cause of death is still unknown and cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner. However early toxicology reports from Feb 1st showed several substances including fentynal and cocaine. Police say there were no obvious signs of foul play, but a homicide situation has not been ruled out. Police add there have been no arrests and there is; "no specific threats to the community."

The families:

The families of all three individuals are shocked and confused by the entire case. Family members have been very vocal about their suspicions and in pointing out the glaring inconsistencies in Willis's story.

Ricky Johnson's brother has stated he believes something other than alcohol had to be involved, whether ingested willingly or unknowingly.  He went on to say there is no way 3 men coincidentally died in that manner. He added that they would have attempted to help each other if this was a normal situation.

As a whole all family of these three unfortunate men are desperate for answers that to this point are not forthcoming.

In conclusion, although this is a strange and sensational case we have been hesitant to cover it due to the lack of solid/good information. We prefer to report in facts not supposition, however we have been non stop in our asking for updates.
