 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.  Regha slams Peter Obi for travelling to Cote d'Ivoire to watch Super Eagles' match


Controversial influencer Daniel Regha has taken to social media to criticize Peter Obi for attending the Super Eagles match in Ivory Coast.

Regha questioned the necessity of Obi’s trip, especially amidst ongoing crises in Nigeria, including in Obi’s home state of Anambra.

Regha argued that politicians like Obi should prioritize addressing national issues rather than attending sporting events.

He suggested that such events should be attended by entertainers and influencers, not politicians responsible for governance.

Expressing his disapproval, Regha commented,

“Peter Obi is currently in Ivory Coast to do what exactly? Travelling all the way to watch the Super Eagles while Nigeria is currently in crisis, including Anambra State.”

Public figures who should be at the stadium are entertainers and influencers, not politicians who should be fixing the nation. This is nothing but a PR move. Misplaced priorities.”
