 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Regha slams Peter Obi for travelling to Cote d'Ivoire to watch Super Eagles' match


Controversial influencer Daniel Regha has taken to social media to criticize Peter Obi for attending the Super Eagles match in Ivory Coast.

Regha questioned the necessity of Obi’s trip, especially amidst ongoing crises in Nigeria, including in Obi’s home state of Anambra.

Regha argued that politicians like Obi should prioritize addressing national issues rather than attending sporting events.

He suggested that such events should be attended by entertainers and influencers, not politicians responsible for governance.

Expressing his disapproval, Regha commented,

“Peter Obi is currently in Ivory Coast to do what exactly? Travelling all the way to watch the Super Eagles while Nigeria is currently in crisis, including Anambra State.”

Public figures who should be at the stadium are entertainers and influencers, not politicians who should be fixing the nation. This is nothing but a PR move. Misplaced priorities.”
