 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.  Regha slams Peter Obi for travelling to Cote d'Ivoire to watch Super Eagles' match


Controversial influencer Daniel Regha has taken to social media to criticize Peter Obi for attending the Super Eagles match in Ivory Coast.

Regha questioned the necessity of Obi’s trip, especially amidst ongoing crises in Nigeria, including in Obi’s home state of Anambra.

Regha argued that politicians like Obi should prioritize addressing national issues rather than attending sporting events.

He suggested that such events should be attended by entertainers and influencers, not politicians responsible for governance.

Expressing his disapproval, Regha commented,

“Peter Obi is currently in Ivory Coast to do what exactly? Travelling all the way to watch the Super Eagles while Nigeria is currently in crisis, including Anambra State.”

Public figures who should be at the stadium are entertainers and influencers, not politicians who should be fixing the nation. This is nothing but a PR move. Misplaced priorities.”
