 WOMAN CRIES FOR HELP AFTER HUSBAND ALLEGEDLY ABANDONED HER IN A LAGOS HOSPITAL AND 'USED MONEY FOR HER CS TO BUY A PHONE AND DOG' A new mum has cried out for help after her husband allegedly abandoned her at the Alimoshso General Hospital in Igando, Lagos State. The newlywed explained that she got pregnant shortly after their wedding and as her due date approached, she developed severe pain and breathlessness and was taken to the hospital where doctors told her she would have to give birth via cesarean section, CS. She said her husband objected and told doctors to discharge her. She alleged that when they got home, he bought herbal concoction for her and asked her to drink it to help her give birth naturally. She said her pain intensified after drinking it and she was rushed to the hospital for the surgery. She cried out for help on Facebook and a kind Nigerian sent her N500,000. Lagos Police Recover 12 Bags Of Stolen Flour, Sugar 

Policemen attached  to the Elere Division of the Lagos State Police Command, on Sunday, recovered no fewer than 12 bags of flour and sugar stolen from a burgled shop in the Iba area of the state.

The command's Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this in a post on his X handle on Sunday.

Hundeyin's caption read, "Patrol officers from Elere Division stopped a Volkswagen bus containing bags of flour and sugar at about 3.40am. 

"Upon sighting the police, the occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled. 

"Investigation revealed that the goods were stolen from a burgled shop in Iba."

The PPRO added that the stolen goods have been returned to the owner, and efforts are on to arrest the fleeing suspects.

He wrote, "Goods have been handed over to the rightful owner. While the vehicle remains on our custody. Efforts are on to apprehend the thieves."

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
