 Reps Summon Lokpobiri, Ekpo, Kyari Over Petrol Scarcity The House of Representatives, on Tuesday, passed a resolution to invite the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri; and his counterpart for the gas sector, Ekperikpe Ekpo; over the fuel scarcity being experience in the country.  The green chamber also summoned the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, over petrol shortages in the country. This followed a motion of urgent national importance by a member of the House, Umar Ajilo, raising concerns over lingering queues at petrol stations nationwide. The House expects the ministers and the NNPCL boss to explain the true reason for the scarcity and the measures put in place to bring it to an end. No date has been set for the engagement.  ONE-CHANCE ROBBERY: Detectives from Ilasan Division Lagos state, have arrested Habeeb Azeez ‘m’ aged 29, Micheal Adeyeye ‘m’ aged 26, Biodun Iyiola ‘m’ aged 46 and Adeleye Dotun ‘m’ aged 27 in Ijora-Badia following discreet investigation into a complaint by a victim that the suspects withdrew N1.4million from her account during a one-chance robbery at Ilasan.

This is because they have already made confessional statements. In addition, this will enable other victims identify them.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
