My husband travelled from Lagos to attend his brother’s burial, which was on the 22nd of March. So, he left Lagos and on Thursday evening; he lodged in that hotel, the Century Hotel, in his hometown and we talked on Friday. On Saturday morning, he was the one who called me, and we talked for some time. We ended the call at about 7.35 am after he told me he wanted to prepare for the occasion. A 5-YEAR-OLD COLORADO GIRL DIED AFTER GETTING TANGLED BY HER NECK IN A SWINGSET. (PHOTO). #RIP.

 A 5-year-old Colorado girl has passed away after getting tangled by her neck in a swingset.


Precious Aurora Masters was playing in her backyard at home last week. Reports indicate she had pushed her little slide over by the swing set and was playing there. She somehow got the chain for one of the swings around her neck before sliding down her slide. There is no report on how long it was before she was discovered however she was without oxygen long enough to cause severe brain damage.


When doctors told the family there was zero chance for recovery they moved Aurora to end of life care where she passed away peacefully on Saturday. She was surrounded by her family.


Aurora's family is planning on donating her organs in the hope of helping other families in difficult situations.


Our thoughts are with the family of this beautiful little girl taken too soon.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
