  Oshiomhole Convinced Us To Make Obaseki Governor – Philip Shaibu Philip Shaibu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, has disclosed that his choice to support his former boss, Godwin Obaseki, stemmed from his respect for Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Shaibu shared his doubts about Obaseki during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm program on Tuesday. Shaibu admitted that he lacked confidence in Obaseki's leadership even before they took office on November 12, 2016. He explained that despite his initial hesitations, he ultimately backed Obaseki out of respect and based on the assurances provided by Oshiomhole. He stated, “Obaseki is not a politician. A WOMAN CHARGED WITH STABBING HER BOYFRIEND AFTER LOOKING THROUGH HIS PHONE. (PHOTO).

 19-year-old Texas woman charged with stabbing her boyfriend after looking through his phone. 


Breasia McLeain was visiting her boyfriend at his apartment. As her boyfriend was busy cleaning McLeain, began snooping on his phone. 


Apparently she found something of importance on the phone as she began approaching the victim swearing and brandishing an aluminum rod.


McLeain then began stabbing the victim multiple times with the aluminum rod before he was able to force her from the home. However, she had forced her way back in as police arrived. She then fought police as she was being taken into custody. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene of the incident. 


McLeain was charged with aggravated assault, family violence and assault on a police officer. She was booked into McLennan County Jail where she remains awaiting court.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
