 Anambra Government Reaffirms Mega City Drive, Demolishes Scores of Illegal Structures By Ruth Orji  The Anambra State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing regeneration drive and restoration of sanity across the state through enforcement exercises and demolition of illegal structures statewide. The exercise was led by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, on July 8, in line with the Physical Planning Law of Anambra State. Stating that it is no longer business as usual, the commissioner urged residents to take every notice received from the ministry seriously and comply promptly with planning regulations henceforth. He, however, said several eviction notices had been served but were taken with a pinch of salt, adding that demolitions followed because structures defaced the environment or obstructed pedestrian walkways.  FG suspends Air Nigeria project indefinitely amidst identity concerns


In a significant turn of events, the Federal Government has taken the decision to suspend the Air Nigeria Airline project indefinitely.


This announcement came from the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace, Festus Keyamo, during a Ministerial briefing held to commemorate the first year of the Tinubu administration.


Keyamo revealed that the decision to suspend the project stemmed from the realization that the airline was not truly a Nigerian entity, but rather an attempt to disguise a foreign airline as a national carrier.


This revelation underscores the government’s perceived commitment to transparency and the protection of Nigeria’s aviation interests.


The suspension of the Air Nigeria project marks a critical development in the nation’s aviation sector and reflects the government’s determination to prioritize the establishment of genuine and sustainable aviation solutions for the country.
