 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event.  You and your generation will regret it if you japa for greater pasture” – Pastor Femi Emmanuel warns Nigerians 


The presiding Pastor of Livingspring Chapel International, Pastor Femi Emmanuel, has warned Nigerians planning to relocate ‘japa’ abroad for greener pastures.


The clergyman made this known during one of his services, as he noted how he had spoken too much on Japa, hence why he wouldn’t stress about it.


He admonished anyone considering relocating for greener pasture to drop the idea because it would lead to future regret. However, he clarified that anyone planning to relocate for academic purposes, training, conferences, business trade, or an instruction from God can do so.


The clergyman warned that relocating only to eat or because of the situation in the country would live to regret as the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
