 Sudan war: Army says it inflicts heavy losses on RSF in Darfur, Kordofan Sudan’s army on Friday said that it inflicted heavy losses on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) during a series of air and ground operations carried out over the past week in the Darfur and Kordofan regions. In a statement, the military said its forces conducted strikes against RSF positions, destroying around 240 combat vehicles and killing hundreds of fighters, Anadolu Agency reported. The army said the operations also targeted what it described as RSF logistical and operational facilities, including drone-related sites and storage areas, as well as locations at Nyala Airport in South Darfur. It added that ground forces had succeeded in pushing RSF fighters out of wide areas in both Darfur and Kordofan, and that operations were ongoing to pursue remaining elements. The presiding Pastor of Livingspring Chapel International, Pastor Femi Emmanuel, has warned Nigerians planning to relocate ‘japa’ abroad for greener pastures.


The clergyman made this known during one of his services, as he noted how he had spoken too much on Japa, hence why he wouldn’t stress about it.


He admonished anyone considering relocating for greener pasture to drop the idea because it would lead to future regret. However, he clarified that anyone planning to relocate for academic purposes, training, conferences, business trade, or an instruction from God can do so.


The clergyman warned that relocating only to eat or because of the situation in the country would live to regret as the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
