 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. LASG ARRAIGNS WOMAN ABUSING GIRL IN VIRAL VIDEO. (PHOTOS). #PRESS RELEASE

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) has revealed that the woman identified in the viral video of mal-treating a child has been arraigned in Court 5, Ogba Magistrate Court, Ikeja on Friday.


A statement issued by the Agency added that the woman, who allegedly dehumanized the young girl in her custody, will be remanded pending the issuance of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) legal advice.


The DSVA also informed the public that the child has been placed under the care of the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development, ensuring she receives the proper care and shelter she needs.

While noting that the  Lagos State Government remains committed to protecting the rights and well-being of children and will continue to work diligently to ensure justice is served in this case, the DSVA enjoined residents to speak up and report cases when they occur through its toll-free number 08000333333.
