  Portable breaks down in tears and apologizes again for slapping preacher Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, broke down in tears as he issued yet another apology following a confrontation with a preacher outside his bar. The singer's apology, which is his second in a row, comes after gospel singer Testimony Jaga gave Portable a three-day ultimatum to apologize to the pastor or face unspecified consequences. The controversial street star explained that his reaction was due to a past traumatic experience involving his sister, who was once attacked by someone posing as a pastor. He added that he would not have slapped the preacher if he knew he was a "true man of God." However, in a recent video, Portable is seen on his knees crying profusely, as he expressed remorse for his actions against the preacher.  25 Persons Killed In Kano-Kaduna Highway Accident


The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says at least 25 persons died in an accident that occurred along the Kano-Kaduna highway on Monday.


In a statement, Olusegun Ogungbemide, the corps’ public education officer, said the accident occurred around 3:15am and involved a trailer conveying about 90 persons. 


“However, FRSC emergency and rescue team was able to rescue 12 persons without injury from the crash,” the statement reads.


“The rescued victims have been taken to the Murtala Muhammad Specialist hospital in Kano for proper medical attention.”


He added that the truck driver has been arrested and handed over to the police for investigation and possible prosecution.


Shehu Mohammed, FRSC corps marshal, urged traditional and religious leaders to support the corps in the campaign against conveying humans, goods and animals together in articulated vehicles.
