 Prince Harry leaves African Parks board after charity admitted rangers committed human rights abuses Prince Harry has left the board of African Parks after nearly a decade with the conservation charity, a year after the organization acknowledged that some of its rangers had committed human rights abuses. A spokesperson for Harry, 41, confirmed his departure while emphasizing that his work in African conservation will continue. “The Duke is proud of his 10 years with African Parks and fully supports the ongoing strengthening of its Board,” the spokesperson said. “His commitment to conservation in Africa continues, and he remains a supporter of African Parks’ mission.” Harry first partnered with African Parks in 2016 and became president of the organization the following year. He was appointed to its board of directors in 2023.  Fathia Balogun shares bag of rice, noodles, others at father’s burial ceremony


The final funeral celebration of Sir Williams Onoughwujovwo Ikperha, father of popular Yoruba actress Fathia Williams, was a grand affair that drew many celebrities to Ikorodu, Lagos, on Sunday.

The event was a fitting tribute to the late patriarch with a star-studded guest list and generous souvenirs that left a lasting impression.

Among those who attended were MC Oluomo, Laide Bakare, Iyabo Ojo, Lizzy Anjorin, Seyi Edun, Yewande Adekoya, Bimpe Akintunde, Bimbo Thomas, Saidi Balogun, Mercy Aigbe and Kazeem Adeoti.

The celebration was filled with music, dance and merriment as friends and family gathered to honor the deceased.

The souvenirs handed out to guests contained a vast array of essential items such as bags of rice, packs of Indomie and spaghetti, beverages, vegetable oil, palm oil, detergents and sauces.

A video capturing the souvenirs went viral on social media, garnering widespread reactions and praise.
