 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. A MAN LOST HIS LIFE SAVING A GIRL ONE HOUR AFTER HIS BAPTISM. (PHOTO).

 A 21-year-old Texas man loses his life saving a teen girl only one hour after his baptism, ensuring his place with the angels. 


Lincer Lopez and a group of people from his church visited Lake Waxahachie in Garland, Texas on Saturday afternoon. While on the church outing, Lopez was baptized.


As the group celebrated in the water, an hour later, a teenage girl began struggling. Lopez sprang into action without a second thought for his own safety. Sadly, Lopez found himself struggling soon after and slipped below the surface of the water. 


The teen girl was rescued soon after by a boater who administered CPR and was able to resuscitate her. Unfortunately it was too late for Lopez, however the same boater was able to recover his body from the water.


Lincer Lopez truly is a hero and selflessly gave his own life to save another life.  Our thoughts are with his family and friends in their time of grief.
