 TROOPS ARREST SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER, RECOVER AK-47 RIFLE ALONG BENIN–SAPELE ROAD Troops of 4 Brigade Nigerian Army, Operation WABAIZIGAN, have arrested a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle and ammunition during a targeted operation along the Benin–Sapele Road in Ikpoba-Okha LGA of Edo State. The suspect, identified as Olamide Oyeniyi, was arrested on 12 September 2026 at Obaretin Community by troops conducting operations to disrupt criminal activities and safeguard major transportation routes within the area. Items recovered from the suspect include one AK-47 rifle, one magazine and eight rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition. Other items recovered are one Tecno mobile phone, two bags, one torchlight, one music box and assorted charms. PARENTS ARRESTED 12 HOURS AFTER THEIR CHILD WAS FOUND WANDERING IN THE ROAD WITHOUT ANY CLOTHES ON. (PHOTOS).

 Parents arrested 12 hours after their child was found wandering in the road without any clothes on.


Police in Owensboro, Kentucky were called about a child wandering in the road Friday night. Once on the scene, officers discovered an unclothed non-verbal child.


Police then began an hours long investigation to figure out where the child came from. During the entire 12 hour investigation time the child's parents never reached out or reported their child missing.


Eventually the investigation led them to a home on Danberry Street where they found the parents, Summer and Benjamin Harding. Police report the home was completely uninhabitable and it was clear the child was physically mistreated and neglected.


Both parents were taken into custody and are being held on $45,000 bonds.
