 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  Three Police Officers Killed in Buea Attack


Three police officers have reportedly lost their lives in Buea on the night of Saturday, August 24, 2024, in a tragic attack by armed men, reportedly linked to separatist fighters, according to Cameroon News Agency. 


The officers were stationed at a temporary post near the newly inaugurated Buea Central Market on the road to Muea when the assault occurred.


The victims have been identified as 2nd Grade Police Constable Laoumanga from the Second District Police Station, 2nd Grade Police Constable Tabe from the Third District Police Station, and 1st Grade Police Constable Beng from the Central Police Station.
