 Milam county, Texas- A high school baseball player and his parents lose their lives in an awful car crash on the way to his game, leaving behind a lone grieving daughter. 43-year-old Clint, and 39-year-old Meghan McCaffety were traveling in a Ford Sedan with their 16-year-old son Connor at 4:40 p.m. on Monday, March 31st.  The family were on their way to one of Connor's baseball games. The trio were traveling on Highway 36 . The family stopped their vehicle at a construction zone  in the west bound lane when a Kia SUV pulled up and stopped behind them. As the two vehicles waited for the light to change, an 18 wheeler came barreling in behind the vehicles and slammed into both cars.  The collision caused the Kia to roll into the ditch and the 45-year-old woman who was operating the Kia was rushed to the hospital.  The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time.  Clint, Meghan and Conner were all pronounced deceased on scene. ARKANSAS COUPLE SELL THEIR BABY BOY FOR A 6 PACK OF BEER AND $1, 000.(PHOTO).

Arkansas couple sell their baby boy for a 6 pack of beer and $1,000. 


21-year-old Darien Urban and 20 year-old Shalene Ehlers are possibly facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child and attempting to negotiate the relinquishment of a minor.


The charges came after a manager at Hide Away Campground contacted Benton County Sheriff's department regarding the couple's troubling behavior.


While conducting an investigation, detectives spoke with witnesses who recounted a shocking tale.  According to witness statements a resident of the campground, Ricky Crawford, visited the couple and offered them beer in exchange or taking their baby for a night. An offer which the couple readily agreed to.


 It is reported that Crawford encouraged the couple to meet with Cody Martin and a deal was negotiated in which Urban and Ehlers would give over their 2-month-old son to Cody Martin. In return, they would receive $1,000 and a six pack of beer.


The contract read "I, Darien Urban and Shalene Ehlers are signing our rights over to Cody Nathaniel Martin of our baby boy [name redacted] for $1,000 on 9/21/2024."


There was also a disclaimer stating "After signing this there will be no changing y'all two's minds and to never contact again."


Upon checking on the baby it was determined the baby boy needed immediate EMS services with the baby smelling heavily of ammonia and fecal odor. Once the soiled diaper was changed it was discovered the baby was suffering severe diaper rash. The small boy was transported to a local hospital for treatment.


Bond was set at $5,000 for Darien Urban which he paid and was released on September 24th. Bond was set at $30,000 for Shalene Ehlers and she remains in the custody at the Benton County Jail.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
