 A student from OP Jindal Global University in Sonipat was caught attempting to smuggle his girlfriend into the boys’ hostel by hiding her inside a large suitcase.  The incident was captured on video by a fellow student and has since gone viral on social media platforms. In the footage, security guards are seen stopping the student and unzipping the bulky suitcase, revealing the girl curled up inside.  The exact circumstances leading to the discovery remain unclear, but reports suggest that the girl may have inadvertently made a noise or movement, arousing suspicion. It is still unknown whether she is a student at OP Jindal or an outsider. The university has not issued an official statement regarding the incident. As the video circulated online, netizens responded with a mix of amusement and disbelief. Mallorca fan sentenced to prison after racist abuse of Vinicius, Chukwueze


A Mallorca fan who racially abused Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior and former Villarreal player Samuel Chukwueze was sentenced to a year in prison and issued a three-year stadium ban on Thursday.


The supporter was “found guilty of two crimes against moral integrity, aggravated by the fact that he acted with racist motives”, Real Madrid said in a statement.


The abuse of Vinicius occurred during Madrid’s 1-0 La Liga defeat to Mallorca at their Son Moix stadium in February 2023, before the fan insulted Chukwueze, now at AC Milan, a fortnight later.


Madrid said the fan’s prison sentence was suspended “after the defendant apologised and showed his remorse, with a letter addressed to Vinicius, having completed an equality and anti-discrimination program.”

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
