 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Putin holds talks with Equatorial Guinea's Obiang


Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks on Thursday with Equatorial Guinean President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo in Moscow, Anadolu Agency reported.


Putin expressed optimism in the meeting at the Kremlin that the reopening of diplomatic missions would strengthen cooperation between the two countries.


"We have significant potential for developing our bilateral economic ties. We also cooperate in the humanitarian sphere, particularly in training national personnel for your country, and we are ready to continue this work," Putin said in the meeting.


"Additionally, there are promising prospects in the area of military-technical cooperation," he added.


Mbasogo emphasised that cooperation should extend beyond resources exploration and mining, and highlighted the importance of experience and technology exchange to foster the development of the Central African region.


He underscored Equatorial Guinea's commitment to deepening energy cooperation with Russia and other friendly nations.


"Our country, rich in natural resources such as gas and oil, is open to establishing strategic alliances with willing partners," he said.


Mbasogo also expressed hope for Russia's support in his country's efforts to join the BRICS economic bloc.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
