The protest was in response to the alleged extortion of motorists by security operatives, yet to be identified, who are not officials of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit. We categorically state that the Lagos State Taskforce had no involvement in the said incident. Our enforcement teams are led by seasoned, well-trained, and highly disciplined senior officers who are far too professional and educated to jeopardise their ranks, integrity, and years of service for personal gain. Wizkid’s ex-girlfriend and popular businesswoman Tania Omotayo has just welcomed her second child, and congratulatory messages are already flooding in.


She had shared a video on Snapchat of her older daughter playing with the baby, who was laying in the cradle.


While the arrival of the child has been solidified because of the video, Tania didn’t mention the exact day that she gave birth, or even the gender of the baby, so it still remains a mystery.


Netizens camped in the comments, sending in congratulatory messages, while a few of them thanked the heavens on her behalf that she left Wizkid.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
